Eduroam: seamless connectivity anywhere. Wireless local area network (WLAN) is a flexible communication system. Using a wireless network users enjoy the benefits a computer network virtually anywhere in the access point operation. Wireless networks offer convenience as they combine data transmission and user mobility. Eduroam project is designed to provide secure, wireless connectivity for the academic environment. Eduroam project in Poland is coordinated by the University Centre for Information Technology of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Users registered in eduroam in Collegium Civitas have access to wireless networks at all institutions involved in the project worldwide.
